Break and enter in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Wallaceburg.

At 5:15 a.m. police attended the Salvation Army on Lowe Street in Wallaceburg.

The suspects caused about $250 in damage when they broke the glass out of the loading bay door to gain entry into the building.

The value of the items taken is estimated at $200.

Man charged with domestic related offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man following an investigation regarding domestic violence.

On Sunday, April 11 at approximately 8:51 a.m., the victim attended Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters in relation to historical domestic incidents.

Through investigation, it was determined that the mother of the accused had also assaulted the victim.

The 28-year-old Raleigh Township man has been charged with:

– Forcible Confinement x 2

– Assault x 4

– Mischief under $5,000

– Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm

– Assault Causing Bodily Harm

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The 54-year-old co-accused of Erieau has been charged with assault x 2 and was released on a Form 10.

She is required to attend court on May 11, 2021.

Woman arrested on warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police Service have arrested a woman on the strength of a surety relief warrant.

A 31-year-old Chatham woman was arrested at approximately 5 p.m. yesterday.
