The CK Public Health Unit has announced one new positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Chatham-Kent, bringing the total to 83.
The new case, and 48 of the confirmed cases overall, are the result of an outbreak at Greenhill Produce in Kent Bridge. More details on the outbreak can be found, here.
There remains 52 active cases in Chatham-Kent, no one is hospitalized and one person has died.
Public Health officials say one more person has recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 30.
In total, 1,772 COVID-19 tests have been administered to date, while 64 tests are pending.
